This quantity is a successor to A categorized Bibliography of the Septuagint (Brill, Leiden 1973), via S.P. Brock, C.T. Fritsch and S. Jellicoe, for the literature at the Septuagint released among 1970 and 1993.
It comprises basic courses at the Greek textual content — variants, language, translators' innovations, textual feedback, Septuagint manuscripts from Qumran and using the Septuagint in historic Judaism (Philon, Josephus) and Christianity (New testomony and Patristica). specific reports are then categorised via the person books of the Bible, through literature on Oriental and Latin models derived from the Septuagint. The experiences at the illustrations of the Septuagint are integrated on the end.
