Memory Remains’, the first single taken from the 1997 album ‘ReLoad’. Best known in the ’60s for her involvement with The Rolling Stones, Faithfull was actually discovered by that band’s then manager Andrew Loog Oldham at a Rolling Stones party. Newsted, who had been the band’s main songwriter, left to join Metallica later that year, but Flotsam & Jetsam persevered and even secured a deal with Elektra Records – ironically also Metallica’s US label. ‘No Place For Disgrace’ was released in 1988, but a fluctuating line-up and label change to MCA saw them lose momentum. 1992’s ‘Cuatro’ flirted with grunge and in 1997 they returned to Metal Blade for ‘High’.
