I designed every aspect of my show from the size of the glitter to the choreography, props, and lighting. It’s a sensory assault, a graphic punk-rock odyssey set to infectiously catchy pop music. I wanted everyone to walk away feeling inspired, alive, and overwhelmed by the wild energy of my show. And I wanted everyone to walk away with glitter lodged in at least one orifice of their body. I LOVE MAKING SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL OUT OF THINGS THAT OTHERS HAVE THROWN AWAY. I started making my own outfits when I was young.

This tour was my chance to put my full creative vision on the stage. It didn’t win me many friends in school, but it helped out in the long run. I design all of my stage outfits. My main influences for my stage outfits are pirates and seventies male rock stars like Keith Richards and Marc Bolan. I’m obsessed with rock Ts, ripped tights, short shorts, and boots. And, of course, I love glitter. I’m not just saying that. I really really love glitter.
